A place of creation, practice, beauty, and inspiration starts simply. I’ve been pouring over old books and exploring libraries ever since I was little. I like the connection I experience when holding something that someone from another lifetime has also held. A physical set of thoughts, checked in-and-out over time.
Something about it fills my heart up, and I am drawn to the experience of capturing, archiving, and sharing what strikes me along the way. What better way to start a blog than the first day of spring, and some lemon illustrations? Here’s to a fresh start and an added perspective.
Illustrations originally sourced from the stacks of St. Louis’ Central Library, and manipulated by me.
