Only 40 minutes from Seattle, and with a trail less than five miles round trip, Little Si was a great beginner’s hike and perfect for a Saturday adventure.
As with most trips, the way up seemed a lot longer than the way down. Psychologists are still debating wether this phenomenon was due to human illusion or the incessant snapping of photos along the way. Regardless of pace, the hike and the views of Upper Snoqualmie Valley were incredible. And what we lacked in equipment—hiking shoes, gear, sandwiches—we made up for in good company.
A favorite spot along the trail. Colorful flags strung between trees, and a bench with rock climbers on view!
